UConn's Bueckers Undergoes 'Successful' Knee Surgery
UConn sophomore Paige Bueckers had surgery on her left knee Monday.

STORRS, CT — Reigning NCAA women's basketball player of the year, University of Connecticut Sophomore Paige Bueckers, underwent successful surgery on her left knee Monday afternoon at UConn Health.
UConn officials made the announcement Tuesday afternoon.
The surgery repaired an anterior tibial plateau fracture and lateral meniscus tear that Bueckers suffered during UConn’s Dec. 5 game against Notre Dame.

Bueckers' recovery is estimated to take eight weeks from her surgery date, Husky officials said.
