Varsity Schedules Set to Begin at E.O. Smith
Panther varsity squads are set to open the regular season beginning Friday.
STORRS, CT — Schools are all now back in session throughout Connecticut, and athletic teams have been practicing for nearly two weeks. Looking forward, opening day for E.O. Smith High School varsity squads is literally just around the corner.
Here are the scheduled regular season openers for Panther teams:
- boys soccer - Friday, Sept. 8 at Enfield, 3:45 p.m.
- girls soccer - Friday, Sept. 8 vs. Enfield, 3:45 p.m.
- girls volleyball - Friday, Sept. 8 at Enfield, 6 p.m.
- football - Friday, Sept. 8 vs. Bristol Eastern, 6:30 p.m.
- cross country - Saturday, Sept. 9 at Windham Invitational, time TBA
- field hockey - Monday, Sept. 11 vs. Simsbury, 4 p.m.
- girls swimming - Tuesday, Sept. 12 vs. Plainville, 3:45 p.m.
