MANSFIELD, CT — A hit-and-run crash involved a driver passing another vehicle on the shoulder of Route 195 in Mansfield, state police said.

The incident took place at 8:05 p.m. on July 14, according to crash report.

A 2016 Honda CR-V was heading south on Route 195 with a 64-year-old Scotland woman driving, according to a crash report. The woman told state police that a car suddenly began passing her car on the right shoulder and hit it the front passenger's side fender in the process, according to a crash report.

The offending vehicle then continued away from the scene, according to a crash report.
