Vehicle Takes Out Mailboxes In Mansfield

MANSFIELD, CT — A vehicle took out several mailboxes in Mansfield, state police said.

Troop C recently released a report on the July 28 incident.

At 9:54 a.m. that day, a 2021 Kia Forte had crashed into a wooded area along the 400 block of Warrenville Road and, in the process, ran over the mailboxes, according to a crash report.

The driver, a 48-year-old Mansfield woman, told state police the vehicle had "steering problems," according to a crash report.

She was taken to Windham Hospital with minor injuries, according to a crash report.
