Vinton Elementary to Begin Fall Mileage Club

The following information is provided by Annie E. Vinton Elementary School:

On Wednesday, September 19th, we plan to begin Vinton Mileage Club for our fall season. This club provides an opportunity for your child to walk or run laps at his/her own pace at recess. It's a way to have fun and make a healthy choice. Our individual goal is to run a Marathon, 26.2 miles by the end of the year. All students (K-4) who complete a marathon and/or complete 5 mileage cards are qualified to go to KidsMarathon in June. We had a great time last year and are hoping for a lot more students to join us!!!

First and Second graders will meet on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 12:15 - 12:45

Third and Fourth graders will meet on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11:45-12:15

Please come out and help this program if you are available.  We cannot run this without parent support. Please email Señora Zugararazo at zugarazojl@mansfieldct.org if you can help out with either the 1^st and 2^nd grade Mileage Club or 3^rd and 4^th grade.
