Water Main Break Affects Services At UConn

STORRS, CT — A water main break in Storrs interrupted some services at the University of Connecticut Tuesday morning.

The break was reported just after 8 a.m. by university officials. It occurred on Route 195 in Storrs and impacted water service in Shippee Hall, the Bishop Center, the Family Sciences Building and residences on Willow Brook Drive.

The break did not impact traffic or the university schedule, officials said.

Repairs were completed by about noon, officials said. early afternoon.
