Winter Storm Watch Dropped, Advisory Now Issued for Mansfield Area
Residents of Hartford and Tolland counties can still expect some snow Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service.

A Winter Storm Watch issued Wednesday morning for Hartford and Tolland counties has been reduced to a Winter Weather Advisory by the National Weather Service.
The advisory is in effect from 9 a.m. Thursday to 4 a.m. Friday and encompasses all of Hartford and Tolland counties.
Forecasters call for 2 to 4 inches of snow, as well as possible sleet, resulting in hazardous driving conditions. Precipitation is expected to begin Thursday morning and become heavy at times during the afternoon and early evening.

Wind gusts up to 45 mph are also possible.
