Winter Team State Championship History: E.O. Smith High School
The Panthers have accounted for two team championships in winter sports over the years.
STORRS, CT — As practices for high school winter sports officially get underway across Connecticut Monday (girls basketball, ice hockey and wrestling) and Thursday (boys basketball, indoor track, boys swimming and girls gymnastics), hopes run high for all teams to achieve the ultimate goal: winning a league championship, and possibly a state title.
To help squads get into the championship mentality, here is a listing of the two CIAC winter team titles won by E.O. Smith High School in past years (* - indicates a co-op team).

- boys ice hockey (1) - Div. III: 2015*
- boys swimming (1) - Class M: 1971
