Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Mansfield, Storrs
A mix of snow and freezing rain may cause travel difficulties Saturday morning.
Some accumulating snow and light freezing rain may require travelers to take extra caution in north-central Connecticut Saturday morning.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Hartford and Tolland counties from 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
A wintry mix should begin in early morning, and is expected to end by early afternoon. Those traveling for the Christmas Eve holiday are urged by the weather service to allow for some extra travel time.
