Winter Weather Prompts UConn to Delay Opening Monday on All Campuses

STORRS, CT — Due to weather forecasts, UConn will have a delayed opening Monday on all its campuses.

Classes are slated to start at 10 a.m., UConn officials said. Classes before that time are canceled for Monday morning, officials said.

Non-essential UConn employees may delay their arrival at work until 10 a.m., but essential employees in public safety, facilities, student affairs and other departments should report as normal, officials said.

Students, employees and the general public can check the UConn Alert website at www.alert.uconn.edu at any time for updated campus status information, instructions for emergencies, safety resources, and other information, officials said.
