19th Annual Susan Saint James Poker Tournament at Foxwoods Will Benefit Special Olympics Athletes

The Annual Susan Saint James Poker Tournament to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut, hosted by Susan Saint James, will take place on Sunday, September 14^th at Foxwoods Resort Casino, 350 Trolley Line Blvd, Ledyard, CT 06338, beginning at 12 PM. The $100 entry fee entitles participants to $2,000 in playing chips, a post-tournament reception, and the chance to win prizes, including an overnight stay at Foxwoods. Poker players of all skill levels are encouraged to participate. Proceeds from the event will support Special Olympics Connecticut’s local programs, which provide year-round sports, health, and fitness programs to athletes of all abilities in the communities where they live.

Susan Saint James is a member of the Special Olympics Connecticut Board of Directors and has been an active and avid supporter of Special Olympics since the 1970s. She is most widely known as a talented television actress whose roles have included Kate McArdle in “Kate & Allie” and Sally McMillan in “McMillan & Wife.” To date, the Susan Saint James Poker Tournament has raised over $400,000 raised over to benefit Special Olympics athletes.
