Tanger Outlets at Foxwoods Hosts Tax-Free Shopping, Back-To-School Bash and Giveaway Aug. 16

Tanger Outlets at Foxwoods invites shoppers to kick off the school season with its Back-to-School Bashon Sunday, Aug. 16from 12–3 p.m. Families can look forward to an array of free activities throughout the Tanger concourse, including a magician at the Tanger stage, balloon artist, photo stops and a backpack and school supplies giveaway near The Toy Vault. Students in K-8th grade are also invited to come and pick up a free backpack with school supplies to start the school year off right. Children must be present to receive a backpack while supplies last.

Guests can also take advantage of Connecticut’s tax-free holiday, from Aug. 16- 22, with savings on sales taxes for all eligible clothing and footwear purchases priced at $300 or less.
