At the 45th annual the March for Life the 45th US President Trump became the first sitting U.S. president to directly address the March for Life anti-abortion rally in Washington.
Jeanne Mancini, president of the March for Life led 100-000 plus Pro-life activists, including people from Meriden's Franciscan Life Center to the National Mall in Washington, D.C. on Friday to commemorate the 45th March for Life. The March for Life is the nation’s largest annual pro-life event that protests Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court’s 1973 landmark ruling that legalized abortion in the U.S. In 1974.
There are also 72 other pro life marches that day or other days in cities including New York, Chicago and Los Angeles for this year.
