2-Alarm Fire Extinguished In Meriden

Crews battled the fire during the overnight hours.

MERIDEN, CT — Crews responded to a two-alarm fire on Lincoln Terrace in Meriden early Friday morning.

No injuries were reported in the fire, which broke out during the overnight hours, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.

NBC Connecticut reports no one was home at the time because it was being repaired from a fire earlier this year. A family of eight had planned to move back in over the weekend, according to NBC Connecticut.

Middletown, Wallingford and Southington firefighters provided assistance to Meriden crews as they battled the fire, according to officials.
