2 Arrested In Meriden On Drug, Gun Charges

MERIDEN, CT — Two men were arrested on drug and weapons charges following a December incident, The Meriden Record Journal reported. Two New York City men, Ryan Ortiz, 23, and Jose Ortiz, 49, were charged Sunday with operating a drug factory, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a sawed off shotgun.

The incident occurred at an apartment building at 390 Bee St. when police received reports of a man saying his car was stolen and gunshots in the area, The Record-Journal reported.
