2 Charged In Meriden Gas Station Robbery: Police
Two men were charged in connection with the robbery of a gas station Monday, according to police.
MERIDEN, CT — Police have charged two suspects in connection with a convenience store robbery, according to a police Facebook post. Two suspects hit the USA Gas station at 271 E. Main St.
They held the clerk at gunpoint then fled on foot. The suspects stole $200 in cash along with some tobacco products. The weapon used in the crime was later determined to be a BB gun.
Police identified and tracked down the suspects.

Blake Raspardo, 22, and Joseph Torres, 20, were charged with first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, sixth-degree larceny, sixth-degree conspiracy to commit larceny, and interfering with arrest.
Raspardo was also charged with illegal use of a facsimile firearm.

Raspardo was held on $500,000 bond, and Torres was held on $350,000 bond.
