2 South Windsor Men Charged With Identity Theft: Police
Two local men were arrested on identity theft charges Tuesday.
SOUTH WINDSOR, CT - Police have arrested two local men who are accused of using a woman's credit cards without her permission. James Gracie, 28, of 61 Dogwood Lane, South Windsor, and Christopher Gracie, 33, of 61 Dogwood Lane, South Windsor, were charged with conspiracy to commit second-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit illegal use of a credit card, conspiracy to commit identity theft, and first-degree identity theft.
Both were held on $50,000 bond and will be presented at Manchester Superior Court Tuesday.
Police said their charges stem from a December 2018 complaint by a local woman that her credit cards were being used without her permission. The investigation revealed that both of the Gracie’s used the victim’s credit cards multiple times without her permission.
