4 Hospitalized In Meriden School Pepper Spray Incident

MERIDEN, CT - Two students and two staff members are being treated following release of pepper spray in a classroom Wednesday morning, according to The Meriden Record-Journal. Each is being treated for respiratory distress at MidState Medical Center and police have remained on the scene.

The incident was at Lincoln Middle School on Centennial Avenue, according to WFSB. A school official said the pepper spray release was an isolated incident.
