MERIDEN, CT — The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced full-depth roadway reconstruction that will be performed on Route 15 Northbound from Miller Avenue to Paddock Avenue in Meriden.
The work is scheduled to occur for three separate weeks. Two weeks for the right lane and one week for the left lane. Work will take place between Sundays at 6 p.m. to Fridays at 3 p.m., beginning on Sunday, May 31 at 6 p.m., according to an advisory.

ALTERNATE ROUTE INFORMATION
The lane closure on Route 15 Northbound may cause congestion when approaching the Miller Avenue vicinity, and travelers are advised to seek alternate routes, to I-91 Northbound with connections to Route 15 Northbound and I-691:

Changeable message signs will be located in advance of the above alternate routes to encourage diversion during the lane closure.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
