Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting 14-Year-Old Girl: Meriden Police

MERIDEN, CT — A man is accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl multiple times, according to Meriden police.

The Meriden Special Crimes Unit (SCU) began investigating a complaint last October accusing 45-year-old Fredrick Eaton of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl on more than one occasion, according to Lt. Darrin McKay.

McKay said police obtained an arrest warrant for Eaton following a thorough investigation.

Eaton was served with the warrant on June 22 while he was incarcerated for a “related violent crime,” according to McKay.

Eaton was charged with three counts of first-degree sexual assault, two counts of risk of injury to a child, and one count of first-degree threatening. He was being held in lieu of a $500,000 bond for this case with a court date of July 15, according to state judicial records.
