Amtrak Shuttle Service Suspended in Meriden After Car Gets Stuck Near Tracks
Train service was suspended as crews worked to remove the car.

Service was suspended on Amtrak’s Springfield Shuttle Service Thursday night in Meriden, NBC Connecticut reports.
The service was suspended on account of a car that took a wrong turn and got stuck near the tracks in the area of North Colony Street and the intersection of Kensington Avenue and Britannia Street, according to the news channel.
No injuries were reported and one of the trains providing service between Springfield and New Haven is back up and running.
