Bear Cub Struck By Vehicle In Meriden Dies: Report
The bear was hit on Friday, April 21.

MERIDEN, CT — The bear cub struck by a vehicle in Meriden on April 21 has died, reports the Meriden Record-Journal.
The black bear cub had to be put down by members of the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, due to injuries it suffered in the accident.
Since being put down, the cub has been transported to the Burlington-based Sessions Woods Wildlife Management Area to be examined, according to the publication.
