Bicyclist Slams Into Van in Meriden
The bicyclist was injured and was issued an infraction.
A bicyclist was sent to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries after slamming into a van near the intersection of Liberty and Norwood streets Tuesday.
The 20-year-old bicyclist was traveling north on Norwood Street and disobeyed a stop sign at the intersection, police said. He struck a van that was traveling east on Liberty Street.
He was issued an infraction for disregarding a stop sign and improper operation of a bicycle.
