Big Lottery Prize Sold In Meriden
The big win came on a Powerball ticket, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
MERIDEN, CT — A winning Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was recently sold in Meriden, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
A Middlefield resident bought the winning ticket at Teddy’s Stores at 1100 East Main St. in Meriden, according to lottery officials.
The CT Lottery no longer publishes winners’ names without their written consent in accordance with a new Connecticut law, which was effective Oct. 1, 2025.
