Police ID Man Found Dead In River In Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — Police have identified the man found dead Monday in Harbor Brook in Meriden as 40-year-old Joseph Stedman, Lt. Darrin McKay said in an update Tuesday morning.

(Original post) MERIDEN, CT — A body was found in Harbor Brook in Meriden on Monday morning, according to multiple reports, including the Record-Journal.

NBC Connecticut reports a man’s body was found by construction workers behind a home near a path they had been using.

The man, whose identity hasn’t been released, was in his 40s, according to WFSB 3.

The man’s cause of death is being investigated.
