Box Truck Carrying Herbs Rolls Over On I-691 In Meriden
Traffic was delayed for several hours as crews cleared the accident scene.
MERIDEN, CT — All lanes have reopened after a box truck rollover slowed traffic on I-691 East in Meriden on Friday morning. The off-ramp to I-91/Route 15 South was closed during the cleanup of the accident.
State Police said there was a minor injury reported when a box truck carrying herbs crashed near the I-691 East Exit 10 off-ramp around 7 a.m. (To sign up for Meriden breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Traffic was delayed for several hours but has been cleared, according to DOT officials.
