Next week C-Town opens at 160 Colony Street in Meriden, the Meriden Record Journal reports.
The supermarket opens in the former Malerba’s Silver City Tire Co., which closed in 2011, and it also was once an A&P supermarket. The building had fallen into disrepair but is almost brand new now, the paper reports.
C-Town plans to hire about 25 people for their new store.
