Carjacking, 2-Car Crash Under Investigation In Meriden: Report

MERIDEN, CT — Police are investigating a carjacking and two-car crash reported Monday evening in Meriden, according to The New Haven Register. I-691 at Exit 10 was closed at 6:45 p.m. due to what state police said was an ongoing criminal investigation.

State police later said they received a report of a carjacking on Bee Street. State police were also investigating a two-car wreck on I-691 near Exit 12 that resulted in minor injuries, The New Haven Register reported.
