City Reaches Settlement With Family Over Police Raid: Report
The city has paid $135,000 to a family whose apartment was raided by police in 2018.
MERIDEN, CT — The city has reached a settlement that will pay a family $135,000 after police raided their apartment in 2018, according to The Meriden Record-Journal. The raid did not result in any arrests.
The payout is $27,000 for each of the five plaintiffs, which includes Rafael Margary-Rivera and four family members.
