On March 15th, Platt High School hosted its second Community Learning Walk, where representatives of Meriden civic organizations were introduced to Student-Centered Learning and visited classrooms to see SCL in action. Walk participants interacted with students and teachers while learning about the transformation of Platt’s learning environment. Community members also toured the sections of the new building. Walk participants shared positive comments and enjoyed the opportunity interacting with the Platt community. Platt looks forward to future Community Learning Walks and collaboration with Meriden organizations.
