Corruption in city including town hall

As I understand it, our city manager knows too many things that hurt Meridens Oligarchy. Is that the real reason they canned him? A look at the campaign contributors list may help one form an opinion on how our city is run. I didn't know that it was an "at will" position, and he could be fired for no reason. Perhaps we should offer a contract so a person has more than short notice on where his next paycheck is coming from. What is the real reason they wanted him out of the way? Seems like they got something to hide. Maybe they should think first of their public image.
