CT Man Drowns In Massachusetts Pond

BARNSTABLE, MA — A Connecticut man in his thirties drowned at a pond in Barnstable, Massachusetts, Sunday, NBC CT reported. Rescue crews responded around 6 p.m. and confirmed that there was one swimmer who was unaccounted for.

The man was taken from the water at Hathaway Pond and transported to Cape Cod Hospital but did not survive. The man's identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, according to NBC CT.

Police are investigating the incident.
