A pair of suspects is under arrest following the incident.
MERIDEN, CT - Police arrested two suspects following an armed robbery and stabbing Tuesday night. Angel Rodriguez, 48, of Meriden, and Keisha Garcia-Hernandez, 27, of Meriden, were arrested following the incident at Tachuelas Grocery Store on West Main Street.
The younger of the two victims, a 29-year-old woman, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries when she was stabbed in the arm. The mother, 60, suffered a serious facial injury but police said the extent of her injuries was unclear.
During investigation, police received a description of the vehicle, which had a distinctively colored hood. A detective who had been in Hartford earlier in the day said he had noticed the vehicle because of this unique feature.
