Deceased CT Baby Found Bagged In Reservoir: State Police
The gruesome discovery was made Tuesday morning. Breaking.

HARWINTON, CT — The body of a dead baby was found in a bag in the Bristol Reservoir in Harwinton Tuesday morning, according to state police.
The gruesome discovery was made at about 10:40 a.m. The reservoir is located on Route 72 and Route 4 in Harwinton, which the City of Bristol Water Department maintains.
State Police Detectives from the department's Western District Major Crime are investigating the untimely death. Members of Troop L-Litchfield were initially notified of the discovery.

"The Office of Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) will conduct a post-mortem examination to determine cause and manner of death," wrote state police in a statement.
The City of Bristol Water Department has consulted with the Connecticut Department of Health on the next steps, though the reservoir had not been used in a few days, and will remain offline, according to officials.

"The City of Bristol Water Department stresses that the public water supply is safe and they have no further concern for the safety of the public water supply."
