Details of Alleged Meriden PTO Embezzlement Revealed

A Nathan Hale School treasurer is accused of taking nearly $23,000 from the organization.

A Nathan Hale School PTO treasurer allegedly fabricated receipts to cover-up her embezzlement of around $23,000, according to an arrest warrant.

Amyie Hope-Wright, 36, of Meriden was arrested last week on larceny and fabricating evidence charges, according to the Record-Journal.

PTO president Wanda Eddy was sorting through mail when she came across a debit card for the organization. The organization had agreed not to use debit cards.
