Diaper-Wearing CT Toddler Found Wandering Streets Alone: Report

WOLCOTT, CT — A three-year-old toddler, who was only wearing a diaper at the time, was found wandering alone on Wolcott Road in Wolcott Thursday afternoon, and police are investigating, reports WTNH-TV.

The child was discovered at about 3 p.m., and when police arrived the child was safely at home.

The mother, who police interviewed, reportedly told officers that she didn't know the child had wandered out of the house until she heard the sound of screeching car brakes outside.
