Double Shooting Injures Victims In Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — Two men were shot in the area of Hobart and Yale streets Wednesday night, according to police. Police responded to a call for shots fired at 8 p.m.

When police arrived, they were informed that the two victims had already been transported by private vehicles to Midstate Medical Center.

Police said injuries to both male victims appear to be non-life threatening. However, the victims have been transported to other area hospitals for treatment.

The investigation into the shooting remains active.
