Double Shooting Near Meriden Mall [UPDATE]
One person suffered life-threatening injuries in the crime.
MERIDEN, CT - Two people were shot Monday afternoon and one suffered life-threatening injuries, The Middletown Press reported. No arrests have been made and there are no suspects in the case, WFSB reported.
The victims, who were in a vehicle traveling on Kensington Avenue, were transported to Midstate Medical Center then to Hartford Hospital, where one victim underwent surgery. The other victim was treated and released.
A third person who was in the car at the time is cooperating with police, according to The Middletown Press.

Police were actively investigating the case near Kensington and Lewis avenues Monday evening, according to The Hartford Courant.
