Help end polio worldwide by participating in the 26th annual Frosty 5K Road Race and 2K Walk on New Year's Day at 11 am in Guilford, CT. The race takes place in rain, sleet or snow over a USATF certified 5K course from historic Guilford Green to the scenic harbor and looping back past the fairgrounds to the start/finsh line. Enjoy the after-race brunch and awards at the Community Center.
Rotary International and its partners are on the brink of eradicating this tenacious disease. Your participation in the Frosty 5K will help raise $200 million to match $355 million in challenge grants from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to directly support immunization in developing countries where polio continues to infect and paralyze children.
NEW! ChronoTrack B-Tag timing will be used this year. Event running shirts and gloves will go to the first 300 preregistered runners and walkers. Race results and age brackets will be posted at the Community Center and online.
