To join this 6-9 mile hike sponsored by the New Haven Hiking Club, meet at 9 a.m. at Giuffrida Park in Meriden. Call for exact directions to the meeting spot.
Trail conditions will shape the hike. Call by 8 a.m. if rain or ice threatens. Steady rain cancels the event, but bad-weather gear is still essential. Bring 1-2 liters water and lunch. Bring stabilizers, yak-traks or crampons if temperatures are freezing.
