Heavyweight Tony “TNT” Grano of Hebron headlines the Willie Pep Boxing Classic at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. The evening also promises a battle for Hartford bragging rights between Israel “Pito” Cardona and Luis Maysonet.
The undercard for this event features several local boxers, including Meriden bantamweight Danny Aquino (5-1, 1 KO) and two Middletown fighters, light heavyweight Doug Cartelli (1-0) and pro-debuting junior middleweight Willie Picard.
