The Meriden Police Union will hold its second annual retirement party on November 18, 2011, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at il Monticello Restaurant on South Broad St. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at Cafe Dolce on West Main Street, at the Police Records Department or from select members of the MPD.
This year the MPD will be honoring the following newly retired members:
Captain Donald Parker
Detective Lieutenant Michael Merrigan
Lieutenant Marvin Richards
Sergeant Jennifer Shelton (will not be in attendance).
