This one-mile hike sponsored by the New Haven Hiking Club will explore a walking scale model of the solar system. See Saturn, colorful stars, exploded stars, a stellar nursery, star clusters and galaxies. The hike leader, Jim Fullmer, has a 25-inch (mirror diameter) telescope 10 feet long.
Dress warmer than you think and bring a working flashlight. Arrive at 8:30pm.
If the sky is overcast, the event will be cancelled.
