The Wallingford Symphony Orchestra is offering a free, outdoor concert on Sunday, July 3, at 7 p.m. on the front lawn of the Paul Mellon Arts Center, 333 Christian Street, Wallingford. Phil Ventre will lead the orchestra of forty eight professional musicians. There will be popular musical selections for all ages, along with a tribute to the armed forces. The Mariachi Academy of Connecticut instrumental group will perform at intermission. Concert goers are encouraged to come early and bring a picnic to enjoy on the Choate Rosemary Hall grounds.
