Fire Rips Through Meriden Home

An early morning fire has displaced two families.

MERIDEN, CT — An attic fire at a Meriden home early Wednesday morning has displaced two families. Everyone in the home was able to make it out safely, but some emergency crew members had very minor injuries, WFSB reported.

Fire officials said they performed vertical ventilation by cutting holes in the roof to draw the fire straight up.

Four adults lived in the home, according to NBC.
