Food Truck Among 64 New Businesses Registered In Meriden In August

MERIDEN, CT —Meriden saw 64 new business registrations in August, according to the Connecticut Business Registry. Home remodelers and builders led the way with seven filings, followed by cleaning and building-services businesses and clothing and accessories retailers.

Shine Bright Sweets was one of the more distinctive filings — a mobile food business — joined by Fuego Latino 593, a full-service restaurant and Smart Punkin Decor, a gift shop. All but three organized as limited liability companies; the exceptions were a professional LLC and two corporations.

Filing with the state and opening for business are separate steps, so some of these companies may not be serving customers yet. The full list, with addresses and business categories, is below.
