Free Bulky Waste Day To Be Held At Meriden Transfer Station

The event is for residents only and ID/proof of residency is required, according to officials.

MERIDEN, CT — The city of Meriden will hold a Free Bulky Waste Day at the Meriden Transfer Station, 226 Evansville Ave., from 7 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, Oct. 29.

“This event is for residents only and ID/proof of residency must be shown to enter,” officials wrote in a post on Facebook. “No commercial vehicles will be allowed this day. Rental trucks for personal use are allowed.

“We expect longer wait times and encourage you to only bring Bulky Waste on this day as mattresses and electronic recycling items are always accepted at no charge. Leaves/brush will not be accepted this day.”
