New Virtual Gun Range In Meriden Promotes Appeal To Kids, Families

T.F.F. Range, which stands for "Tactical. Family. Fun.," bills itself as a family friendly virtual shooting range.

MERIDEN, CT — At the new virtual shooting range in Meriden called T.F.F. Range, the family that shoots together, stays together.

Located on East Main Street, the new range, which stands for "Tactical. Family. Fun.," uses real guns that have been equipped with lasers and carbon dioxide cartridges, reports the Meriden Record-Journal.

Using a digital projection system, the range offers players the chance to participate in more than 800 shooting scenarios using the special guns, which give the feeling of using the real thing.

The owners tout that the range is kid-friendly, in part because the volume of the digital scenarios can be adjusted, so as not to frighten the little ones.

"What can your 4 year old do?' owners wrote on Facebook. "Safe Environment for Children, while still giving the training and fun for adults. CTs First Virtual Shooting Range!"
