Hiker Critically Injured In Fall At Hubbard Park In Meriden

MERIDEN, CT — A woman was critically injured after falling down a cliff at Hubbard Park in Meriden on Tuesday afternoon, according to multiple reports.

NBC Connecticut reported the woman fell 65 feet from the cliff and tumbled another 120 feet.

Emergency crews carried the woman, who was conscious, out of the woods and a LifeStar helicopter was dispatched, according to WTNH News 8.

The woman suffered head and abdominal injuries and was airlifted to the hospital, WFSB 3 reported.
