HISPANIC HERITAGE

The October Breakfast Club Series event will celebrate Hispanic Heritage with special guest speaker Julio C. Casiano, Deputy District Director for the United States Small Business Administration in Connecticut on Friday, October 25, 2013 from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m. at Four Points by Sheraton, 275 Research Parkway, Meriden. This event is generously presented by Cox, TD Bank and Silver City Sports Bar & Grill.

Julio Casiano is the first Hispanic Deputy Director of the U.S. SBA. He has been actively involved in the ongoing professional development of Hispanic business owners as a bi-lingual instructor of business computing, financial record keeping, management and marketing courses offered through the Spanish American Merchants Association and other merchant group in CT.

To commemorate Hispanic Heritage Month, Officer Fred Rivera will be receiving a Shining Star Award. SCORE will also receive an award for promoting the entrepreneurial spirit. 

The agenda includes morning networking, a full breakfast buffet, Chamber news, awards, and announcements, followed by the presentation with Q&A. This event will be videotaped for airing on the Chamber’s Website and on Public Access on Cox and AT&T Uverse. 

The cost is $20 for Meriden Chamber members in advance, $25 at the door and $30 for members-to-be.
